- Custom frame formats: User-defined frame formats can now be saved via the "Frame" menu. These can be reloaded via the "Frame" menu or the "Format" menu.

- General: IT8 calibration has been improved to simplify the selection of a calibration method that fits the target used.

- General: A gray scale is introduced below the histogram for an easier understanding of the displayed histogram.
- Task:
- General: When copying the image automatics to other frames, the automatic image optimization is applied individually for each image. In SilverFast Ai Studio's Settings > Auto, an option has been added to transfer fixed values instead for image series with consistent shooting conditions.
- Bug:
- Plustek OpticFilm 120 Pro: In some cases, the film offset compensation from the overview dialog was not transferred correctly. The offset is now compensated correctly.
- General: The language selection for "Simplified Chinese" now works correctly again.
- WFP: the export option for taking over an existing frame name has been deactivated, because one can't assign a name before the export.
- Nikon LS 9000ED: Under certain conditions, the first image was scanned multiple times during batch scanning. The correct scan sequence was restored.
- General: The Clone-Tool now shows the area to be copied transparently as a preview again.
- General: Under certain conditions, the selection of automatic image optimization in Settings > Auto was reset. The setting is now retained.
- General: In some cases, especially large scans from approx. 1GB file size could not always be performed reliably. Large files can now be created again without aborts.
- The batch scan function on the Nikon LS-8000 and LS-9000 works correctly again if the holder is inserted before SilverFast is started.
- General: Loading saved frame sets could cause a crash. Frame sets are now loaded correctly again.
- General: The value "-1" can be used again as Find Frames Outset in Settings > Auto.

- General: A "Reset"-Button was added to the "Auto" tab of the SilverFast preferences which restores the default values.
- General: The "Expert" part of the Scan Dimensions window now is part of the regular dialogue and thus always visible.
- General: When starting SilverFast as demo version for the first time, you need to pick which level of the software you want to try. You can switch software levels for the demo in the Welcome Screen when starting SilverFast.
- General: A message is now displayed if SilverFast Single Archive Scan can't create a folder in the chosen directory.
