The Epson Expression 11000XL is a large flatbed scanner, which is also suitable for archiving 35mm slides. SilverFast Ai IT8 scanner software is already included with the scanner.

Focus Control: The Epson Expression 11000XL makes it possible to adjust the focus of the optics, i.e. the focus can be adjusted a few millimeters in height. Using SilverFast, the 11000XL has an automatic and manual focus control. With this functionality it is possible to digitize flat 3-dimensional objects such as bird feathers to enable unique projects such as The Feather Guide.
Authentic colors: For calibrating your scanner, we recommend our patented and award-winning Auto IT8 Calibration using a calibration target from our own production.

One of the most influential pieces of technology to my career is SilverFast. It changed the way I work and using it started me on the journey I have gone on with post processing my images.
