Windows 64bit: SilverFast finds my scanner but can not access it's driver.

SymptomSymptom:
A message is displayed which claims a wrong driver is in use.

ProblemProblem:
Some manufacturers only offer 32 bit drivers for some scanners.

SolutionSolution:

These can be installed on Windows 64bit, but can not be access by SilverFast 64bit versions. Please download the SilverFast 32bit version from our Update area. Make sure you select the 32bit version of your operating system. This is normally done automatically. But in case you have several scanners SilverFast might already be installed in 64 Bit. A 32 Bit Scanner would require the 32 bit SilverFast version to be installed additionally.

This for example currently concerns: 
- Plustek OpticFilm devices:
OF 7200i 
OF 7500i 
- the Quatographic Intelli Scan 5000,
- and the Epson Perfection 2400 / 2400 Photo /GT-9300UF.
