An eventful year is drawing to a close. The corona virus has turned the world as we knew it completely upside down. We have all been directly or indirectly affected by Covid-19 and are struggling with it regarding health, social activities and economic terms. We really hope you and your families and friends are fine and that you have found a way to deal with the situation.

PhotoKlassik Academy – Scanning and Hybrid Processing



One-day workshop on Saturday February 29th in Bad Nauheim, Germany. This PhotoKlassik Academy workshop "Hybrid Processing" is aimed at photographers who want to digitally process analog film material or who want to convert digitally captured images into analog negatives or positives. The strategies for long-term digital archiving of analog image materials will also be covered.

ISO committee approves new target layouts for scanner calibration – Fogra confirms conformity of new Advanced Targets from LaserSoft Imaging.

A scanner calibration according to the IT8 standard is important for measuring the individual color vision behavior of a scanner and for creating a color profile for this device. With the revision of its standard, the ISO is responding to the new requirements that have arisen from digital printing. The "Advanced IT8 Targets" from LaserSoft Imaging according to ISO standard 12641-2 – with more measuring fields for more accuracy – are now available at an introductory price.
