Input & Output Histogram in SilverFast Ai Studio 9
A histogram visualizes the distribution of brightness values of an digital image and allows to predict contrast range and brightness. The histogram is a great tool to recognize and correct typical image errors such as under- and overexposure. Thus, the histogram is one of the most important SilverFast features.

SilverFast 9 - Plustek OF120 & JobManager
Using scanner software SilverFast Ai Studio 9, the JobManager functionality allows to scan multiple images automatically from the OF120's film holders. Therefore, an individual scan frame is created for each image, corresponding to a job in the JobManager.
The JobMonitor iPhone App allows to monitor the scanning progress from afar.

SilverFast 9 Multi-Exposure
SilverFast Multi-Exposure records an original’s maximum Dynamic Range by performing a double scan with an increased exposure time of the second scan. This procedure captures the light image area’s details in the first pass and the shadow details in the second. Afterwards an algorithm calculates the final scan, which now contains any detail, from each single scan.
