The ProScan 7200 was so far only supported on Microsoft Windows. reflecta now has revised the device to also give Mac users access to this high-quality scanner. reflecta also offers an ProScan 7200 edition that is equipped with SilverFast from factory.
The ProScan 7200 manages to achieve good results relatively quick. Considering the low acquisition costs, the price performance ratio is convincing.

It’s recommended to use the ProScan 7200 with SilverFast. Where the included software Cyberview X allows just rudimental adjustments with very basic tools, SilverFast in contrast offers controllability and a large lineup of professional tools.
Cyberview is a clearly arranged scan software, but it leaves desires regarding image quality. The correction tools are not really useful. […] In terms of quality, scans made with SilverFast from LaserSoft Imaging are much better. This software is already bundled with a lot of scanners.
Unfortunately, the included scan software Cyberview shows a number of shortcomings regarding image processing and speed. Though image quality is quite neat, except for the tonal range in dark and light areas, you can get a lot more using SilverFast.
