Different plant specimens need different settings for an optimally readable image format. In order to record series of plant specimens, methods need to be developed that can process similar plants using preset parameters.

For series recording, the scanner working table must be equipped with a rotary indexing table. If technical production aspects are taken into account, an ergonomic workflow can be developed in order to achieve the required daily output of plant leaves required to be scanned.
